We’re continuing the  9-part series where I rank each player, from 1-91, & of course today we’re ranking players 51-60.

Note: The reason I’m doing 91 is because the 49ers are able to carry Alfredo Gutierrez on their roster without him counting against the 90-man limit.

60. CB 20 Ambry Thomas(2024)

2023 Cap Number: $1,305,232

Chance of making Roster: 50/50

Analysis: Ambry Thomas needs to step up, because he’s in danger of being passed on the depth chart by Darrell Luter Jr., and Qwuantrezz Knight.

59. RB 32 Tyrion Davis-Price(2025)

2023 Cap Number: $1,161,033

Chance of making Roster: 50/50

Analysis: If the 49ers keep 4 backs, then it’ll likely be TDP as the 4th back, but he’ll need to earn it, with UDFAs Ronald Awatt, & Khalan Laborn looking to take his spot.

58. TE 89 Charlie Woerner(2023)

2023 Cap Number: $1,055,258

Chance of making Roster: 50/50

Analysis: Woerner passed Dwelley as the #2 TE, but I don’t see him making the team, as he’s just not as good as Latu, & Willis.

57. TE 82 Ross Dwelley(2023)

2023 Cap Number: $1,080,000

Chance of making Roster: 50/50

Analysis: Dwelley signed a 1-year deal, with $700,000 fully guaranteed, and I just don’t see why the 49ers gave him that much in guaranteed money, and now it makes even less sense, with better players like Latu, & Willis now 49ers.

56. SLB 45 Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles(2023)

2023 Cap Number: $1,825,000

Chance of making Roster: 50/50

Analysis: Despite having $1.25 million fully guaranteed, I’m not a fan of DFF, I think he gets beaten out by Dee Winters, and is in jeopardy of losing his roster spot.

55. SLB 50 Jalen Graham(2026)

2023 Cap Number: $769,446

Chance of making Roster: 50/50

Analysis: Graham was the 49ers final draft pick, and I expect him to be at worst on the practice squad, and if he wants to be on the 53-man roster, he’ll need to beat out several other players.

54. WR 10 Ronnie Bell(2026)

2023 Cap Number: $769,446

Chance of making Roster: 50/50

Analysis: Bell is being viewed as a potential Jauan Jennings replacement, and as the teams’ #2 KR/PR, but he needs to earn his roster spot if the team keeps 6 WRs.

53. WR 17 Chris Conley(2023)

2023 Cap Number: $1,032,500

Chance of making Roster: 50/50

Analysis: Conley was signed to a 1-year deal, but doesn’t have any guaranteed money, so he’s a 50/50 to make the roster, he’ll need to beat out Ronnie Bell, and if he wants to be active, he needs to beat out Danny Gray, which I just don’t see happening.

52. LT 75 Matt Pryor(2023)

2023 Cap Number: $965,000

Chance of making Roster: 50/50

Analysis: Pryor will have to battle it out with the likes of Jaylon Moore for the swing Tackle spot, and he may be in the race for the starting RT spot if McKivitz struggles.

51. FS 38 Myles Hartsfield(2023)

2023 Cap Number: $1,010,000

Chance of making Roster: Lock

Analysis: I have Hartsfield as one of 5 safeties set to make the 2023 roster, he has versatility, he can play both safety spots, as well as cornerback, and is a special teams ace, someone to watch out for.
