I’ve received new info on some players’ contracts, and they are below.
For Javon Hargrave, his 2023 cap number isn’t $6.615 million, instead it’s $6.555 million, and this is due to his $100,000 workout bonus prorating over 5-years, the same will happen for his 2024 workout bonus, same amount of $100,000 over 5-years.
For Sam Darnold, he received a $1.9 million fully guaranteed base salary, a $1.5 million signing bonus, a $1 million per game roster bonus, up-to $1 million, and a $100,000 workout bonus, which is fully guaranteed for salary cap purposes, and he has $1.2 million of his $7 million in incentives counting against the 2023 cap, for a $5,111,765 cap number.
For Jake Brendel, he also has his $100,000 workout bonuses for 2023 & 2024 prorating over the length of the contract, at $20,000 a year, and he also has up-to $500,000 in incentives each year of his deal, which are considered NLTBE.
For Isaiah Oliver, he has a $100,000 workout bonus that also prorates in 2023 over 5-years, while he has a $100,000 workout bonus in 2024 that counts in full, so his deal averages $3.375 million a year, which is $6.75 million over 2-years, but it has 4 voidable years for cap purposes.
For Colton McKivitz, his 2023 $50,000 workout bonus prorates over at $25,000 a year over 2-years.
Finally with Clelin Ferrell’s deal, he actually only got $580,000 of his $1.16 million base salary fully guaranteed, not the entire amount.
With that said, thank you for reading, and follow me on Twitter @49erscap for more salary cap information, & tidbits.
