So we saw yesterday that rumors are the 49ers are working on 3 restructures, defensive tackle Arik Armstead, middle linebacker Fred Warner, and cornerback Charvarius Ward, plus we saw the re-signing of long snapper Taybor Pepper to a 3-year deal, with $1.5 million fully guaranteed, so let’s look at what the 49ers 2022 salary cap would look like with these restructures, plus projected cap number for Pepper.
If the 49ers restructure Armstead, Warner, & Ward, the team would save $31.24 million in salary cap room, that’s if they add enough void years to get the maximum savings, which is very likely, so the 49ers would be a projected $38,413,367 under the 2022 cap, with 48 players signed, and with 51 signed, they’d be $36,163,367 under.

RFA:

ERFA:
WR Jauan Jennings
I expect the 49ers to tender all of their RFAs & ERFAs, which would require the original round tender for McKivitz, which is $2.743 million, while Givens & Flannigan-Fowles would get the right of first refusal tender worth $2.627 million, and Jennings would get the ERFA tender of $940,000, which would put the 49ers $30,226,367 to begin the 2023 offseason.
I’d expect the team to try and re-sign the following UFAs, center Jake Brendel, right guard Daniel Brunskill, right tackle Mike McGlinchey, defensive ends Charles Omenihu, Samson Ebukam, Kerry Hyder Jr., & Jordan Willis, defensive tackle T.Y. McGill Jr., nose tackle Hassan Ridgeway, strongside linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair, cornerback Emmanuel Moseley, free safeties Jimmie Ward, & Tashaun Gipson Sr., & place kicker Robbie Gould.
But they won’t re-sign all of them, as I truly believe Jimmie Ward & Azeez Al-Shaair are the most likely to sign with another team, while Mike McGlinchey is a toss up for me.
As for outside free agents, I can see them being in on Bengals safety Jessie Bates III, Falcons right tackle Kaleb McGary, and Eagles defensive tackle Javon Hargrave, among others.
