49ers quarterback Brock Purdy apparently won’t be needing Tommy John Surgery, this according to Matt Maiocco, which is great news, and he should be ready for the beginning of training camp.

Purdy tore his UCL in the 49ers NFC Championship game loss to the Eagles, and there’s been fear that he’d be out for a year or more, but thankfully, if 100% right, Purdy should be competing for the starting QB spot with former 3rd-overall pick Trey Lance.
