The (un)official site for the San Francisco 49ers Salary Cap
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero is reporting that the 49ers have re-signed wide receiver Willie Snead IV to the practice squad.
Snead was released a day after being signed to the 53-man roster.
This could indicate that Jimmie Ward might be close to returning, as he & Jason Verrett will return to practice Wednesday.
