Earlier this month I went over what players have incentives in their contracts, and I want to revisit this with what are attainable, and really not attainable.
Now, with the Trey Lance injury, Jimmy Garoppolo can feasibly earn those $5.65 million in LTBE incentives, but no guarantee he will earn the other $2.45 million won’t be easy to attain, as it requires the 49ers to get to the Super Bowl, even though I fully believe this team is a Super Bowl contender, even without Lance, & with Garoppolo at quarterback.
Also, Deebo Samuel, who has over 100 rushing yards, and 1 rushing touchdown should easily attain the $650,000 for 380 rushing yards, & 3+ rushing touchdowns, especially with the injuries to Elijah Mitchell, and now Tyrion Davis-Price.
As for those that will be hard to attain, well those would be the following.
Jeff Wilson Jr. has $950,000 for playtime, rushing yard, catches, and touchdowns.
Ray-Ray McCloud III has $500,000 for 46% offensive playtime, 400 receiving yards, & 200 rushing yards, while he also has $200,000 for making the Pro Bowl.
Samson Ebukam has $500,000 for sacks, and making the Pro Bowl.
Kerry Hyder Jr. has $750,000 for sacks.
Jordan Willis, who is on injured reserve, has $77,500 for 4 sacks.
Hassan Ridgeway has $700,000 for playtime & sacks.
George Odum has $1.5 million in unknown incentives, likely playtime, interceptions, pro bowl, etc…
Now, the following two could see there NLTBEs.
Charvarius Ward’s $500,000 for Pro Bowl/1st or 2nd Team All-Pro
Jason Verrett $152,500 for 55% defensive playtime, but that would require him being ready soon, and staying healthy.
