NFL Network’s Mike Garofolo shared the following details, for Jimmy Garoppolo’s new 1-year restructured contract, which are below.
$6.5 million fully guaranteed base salary
$500,000 per game roster bonus
$250,000 for each game he plays 25% or more of the teams offensive snaps
$100,000 for each game that the team wins in the games he plays 25% or more offensive snaps
$500,000 for 1 playoff game that he plays 50% or more offensive snaps
$500,000 for 50% or more offensive snaps in the conference championship game
$500,000 if he wins the conference championship game
$1 million if he takes 50% or more of the offensive snaps in the Super Bowl
He gets a $15.45 million max value, no trade clause, & no tag clause.
Of the incentives, $5.65 million are considered LTBE, giving Garoppolo a team high $14,591,176 cap number.
