With every contract now accounted for, it’s time to take an updated look at the 49ers 2022 & 2023 salary cap situations.
As of now, the 49ers have 91 players signed for 2022, accounting for $238,809,670, along with $5,275,226 in dead money, for a total cap commitment of $244,084,896, their top 51 commitment would be $212,694,896, meaning they need to create $170,335 in cap room to sign their draft picks.
As of now, with no draft picks signed, the 49ers are $433,784 under their 2022 adjusted cap, and I’ve already gone over how the 49ers can sign their draft class with very little cap room needed, as the top 3 picks(Drake Jackson, Tyrion Davis-Price, & Danny Gray) & the other 6 picks’ prorated bonuses would count against the top 51 rule, & their first 3 picks would replace 3 players on the top 51 who are making $895,000 each.
As for 2023, the 49ers currently have 44 players signed, for a total cap commitment of $188,607,507, with $14,984,999 in dead money, for a total cap commitment of $203,592,506, with $21,407,494 in cap room on a $225 million cap, but that is with just 44 players signed, with enough ton have 51 signed, they’d be $16,157,494 under a $225 million cap.

The 49ers are setup very nicely for the future, expect any new deals for Deebo Samuel, & Nick Bosa to include very low 2023 salary cap numbers.
