According to ESPN’s Nick Wagoner, the 49ers never received an offer of 2 2nd-round picks for quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, this according to what John Lynch had to say.

Lynch also said that there are no plans to outright release Garoppolo.

I think I can speak for all 49ers fans, that we just want this Garoppolo saga to be over with.
