The 49ers signed former Pittsburgh Steelers punter Corliss Waitman to a 1-year deal, and thanks to OverTheCap.com, we now have his terms.<\/p>\n
Waitman got a $75,000 signing bonus, and a $1.215 million base salary, with $400,000 of it being fully guaranteed.<\/p>\n
His cap number is below.<\/p>\n
2026: $1.15 million ($1.215 million base salary, & $75,000 signing bonus proration)<\/p>\n
The deal also qualifies as a veteran minimum salary benefit deal, which means that Waitman’s base salary only counts $1.075 million against the cap, thus the $1.15 million cap number.<\/p>\n
