The 49ers got embarrassed last week in their loss to the Buffalo Bills, but today they came out roaring, beating the Chicago Bears 38-13, in a game where Brock Purdy went 20\/25 for 325 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, no interceptions, a 145.4 QB rating, and he also had 11 rushing yards on 5 carries.<\/p>\n
Isaac Guerendo led the way for the 49ers rushing wise with 57 rushing yards on 10 carries, and 2 rushing touchdown, while Patrick Taylor Jr. had 25 rushing yards on 7 carries, and a rushing touchdown.<\/p>\n
George Kittle led the way receiving wise with 151 receiving yards on 6 catches, while Jauan Jennings had 90 receiving yards on 7 catches, and the 2 receiving touchdowns passed by Purdy.<\/p>\n
Deebo Samuel Sr. had 22 receiving yards on 2 catches, along with 13 rushing yards on 5 carries, while Guerendo had 50 receiving yards on 2 catches.<\/p>\n
Ricky Pearsall had 1 catch for 5 receiving yards, Eric Saubert had 1 catch for 4 receiving yards, and Kyle Juszczyk had 1 catch for 3 receiving yards.<\/p>\n
Defensive wise, De’Vondre Campbell Sr. led the way with 7 tackles, followed by Charvarius Ward, Talanoa Hufanga, & Malik Mustapha with 5 tackles each.<\/p>\n
Yetur Gross-Matos, & Evan Anderson each had 4 tackles, while Dee Winters, Sam Okuayinonu, Jalen Graham, Fred Warner, & Robert Beal Jr. had 3 tackles each.<\/p>\n
Sack wise, the 49ers had 6 total sacks, 3 by Gross-Matos, 2 by Leonard Floyd, and 1 by Maliek Collins, while Anderson had the teams lone takeaway, a fumble recovery.<\/p>\n
TFL wise, the 49ers had 7 total, 3 by Gross-Matos, 2 by Floyd, and 1 each by Collins, & Graham.<\/p>\n
PBU wise, the 49ers had 3, 1 each for Winters, Okuayinonu, & Collins.<\/p>\n
Special teams wise, Jake Moody went 1\/1 on field goal attempts, just a 23-yarder, while he went 5\/5 on extra points, while Pat O’Donnell had 2 punts for 92-yards, with 1 landing inside the 20-yard line, and Jacob Cowing had 4 punt returns for 22 punt return yards.<\/p>\n
This game is what the 49ers needed, blowing out the Bears, and finally playing what looked like a complete game, despite not having the likes of Trent Williams, Aaron Banks, Nick Bosa, Christian McCaffrey, Jordan Mason, & others.<\/p>\n
The 49ers can celebrate for now, but come Thursday Day Night, they have the Los Angeles Rams, live at 5:15pm pacific\/8:15pm eastern, from Levi’s Stadium, and broadcasted live 0n Amazon Prime Video.<\/p>\n
