The 49ers made a series of roster moves today, as they’ve officially placed running back Christian McCaffrey on injured reserve, with what is likely a season-ending PCL injury, while they also claimed running back Israel Abanikanda off waivers from the Jets, and signed wide receiver Ronnie Bell to their practice squad.<\/p>\n
Also the 49ers are expected to place running back Jordan Mason on injured reserve, along with defensive tackle Kevin Givens, while promoting running back Patrick Taylor Jr. to the 53-man roster.<\/p>\n
