Ryan Ramcyzk, New Orleans Saints
No. 6. Tristan Wirfs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
No. 9. Taylor Moton, Carolina Panthers
No. 10. Lane Johnson, Philadelphia Eagles
No. 12. Jack Conklin, Cleveland Browns
No. 13. Braden Smith, Indianapolis Colts
No. 14. Mike McGlinchey, San Francisco 49ers
No. 25. La’ell Collins, Dallas Cowboys
No. 27. Rob Havenstein, Los Angeles Rams
No. 30. Brian O’Neill, Minnesota Vikings

Now when looking at the top paid right tackles, we have to look at OTC to see who they are, so as of today, the following right tackles rank like this.

No. 1. Ryan Ramcyzk, $19.2 million a year, $60,214,824 guaranteed, $43,014,824 fully guaranteed.
No. 2. Lane Johnson, $18 million a year, $55.845 million guaranteed, $25 million fully guaranteed.
No. 3. Jack Conklin, $14 million a year, $30 million guaranteed, $30 million fully guaranteed.
No. 4. Taylor Moton, $13.754 million Franchise Tag, fully guaranteed.
Tied No. 5. Bryan Bulaga, $10 million a year, $19.25 million guaranteed, $19.25 million fully guaranteed.
Tied No. 5. La’ell Collins, $10 million a year, $35 million guaranteed, $19,966,750 fully guaranteed.
No. 7. George Fant, $9.2 million a year, $13.7 million guaranteed, $9.25 million fully guaranteed.
Tied No 8. Hala Vaitai, $9 million a year, $20 million guaranteed, $20 million fully guaranteed.
Tied No 8. Trent Brown, $9 million a year, $6.5 million guaranteed, $6.5 million fully guaranteed.
No. 10. Rob Havenstein, $8.125 million a year, $16,226,365 guaranteed, $9,976,365 fully guaranteed.

Of the top 10, only 4 aren’t in PFF’s ranking of the top 32 tackles, those being Bulaga, Fant, Vaitai, & Brown.

Originally, I said that McGlinchey, if all goes well, would be looking at $12 million a year, but with the fact that Ramcyzk got, essentially, left tackle money, I think for players like McGlinchey, O’Neill, & Moton, their price just went up.

So, what is McGlinchey worth when the time comes? Well, that’s tough, because he’s an elite run blocker, but average at best pass protector, the hope is having fellow Notre Dame alum Aaron Banks at right guard will help McGlinchey, as that’s the one spot, besides center, that the 49ers needed help in the worst way.

Now, McGlinchey won’t get what Ramcyck got, nor will he get what Lane Johnson got, so we’re looking more into what Jack Conklin got, which was $14 million a year, with $30 million guaranteed, all of it being fully.

But I can realistically see McGlinchey getting more than Conklin got, somewhere in the $15 million a year range, which would be a lot to have two tackles making the kind of money they’d be making, but if McGlinchey can improve over the next 2 seasons, then it’s money well spent.

So with all of this said, I thank everyone for reading article, as always you can follow me on Twitter @49erscap, or leave a comment below, and I’ll get back to you.

[5,4,3,2

post-2691","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-analysis","category-exclusive","category-roster","category-salary-cap
["GET
