Javon Kinlaw&#8217;s 5th-year options included"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 49ers are coming off a huge victory in Super Wild Card weekend over the Seattle Seahawks, but today I want to take a look into 2024, mainly with 5<sup>th<\/sup>-year options for Brandon Aiyuk, &amp; Javon Kinlaw included.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Right now, the 49ers have 27 players signed for 2024, accounting for $203,083,621, with $819,000 in dead money from Oren Burks, for a total cap commitment of $203,902,621, leaving them $52,097,379 under a projected $256 million cap, but that\u2019s with just 27 players, so when you add in enough for 51, they\u2019d be down to $33,017,379 under.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Below are the 27 players with their 2024 cap numbers.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>WR 19 Deebo Samuel &#8211; $988,334<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 49ers will have until early May 2023 to pickup 5<sup>th<\/sup>-year options on Aiyuk, and\/or Kinlaw, which would come in at $13.988 million for Aiyuk, and $8.432 million for Kinlaw, both would be fully guaranteed the moment they\u2019re picked up, with Aiyuk being a no brainer, and while some feel like the 49ers won\u2019t exercise Kinlaw\u2019s, I believe they will, that way they can have either 1 more year to look at him in 2024, or extend him, in case he breaks out the rest of the way, both in this years playoffs, and in 2023.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the 49ers pickup both option, the 49ers salary cap room goes down to $29,677,379 with 29 players signed, and with 51 they\u2019d be down to $12,187,379, but this doesn\u2019t include either 2023 or 2024 draft picks, or Nick Bosa\u2019s expected extension, which should see his 2024 cap number coming in around $12 million to $14 million.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, I fully expect the 49ers to extend Aiyuk on a long term deal, in the $24 million a year, or more range, but Kinlaw isn\u2019t guaranteed anything, unless he breaks out over the next 18 months.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I\u2019d expect Aiyuk\u2019s 2024 cap number to go from $13.988 million to around $6 million to $8 million, and I don\u2019t forsee any issues with extending both Bosa this offseason, and Aiyuk in 2024, so the 49ers won\u2019t need to trade anyone, or cut anyone, they can indeed afford their core going forward, this is because of the rising cap, thanks to the NFL\u2019s new TV deals, and NFL Sunday Ticket deal with YouTube.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anyway, people don\u2019t need to worry, the 49ers have the resources to make this work, and as I said, I fully expect it to happen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, with that said, I thank you for reading, and follow me on Twitter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.twitter.com\/49erscap\">@49erscap<\/a> for more salary cap information &amp;
