{"id":15113,"date":"2022-09-26T12:00:40","date_gmt":"2022-09-26T16:00:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/49erscap.com\/?p=15113"},"modified":"2022-09-25T12:42:00","modified_gmt":"2022-09-25T16:42:00","slug":"an-updated-look-at-the-49ers-2024-salary-cap-situation-with-5th-year-contract-option-numbers-for-brandon-aiyuk-javon-kinlaw-after-the-dre-greenlaw-mitch-wishnowsky-extensions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/49erscap.com\/index.php\/2022\/09\/26\/an-updated-look-at-the-49ers-2024-salary-cap-situation-with-5th-year-contract-option-numbers-for-brandon-aiyuk-javon-kinlaw-after-the-dre-greenlaw-mitch-wishnowsky-extensions\/","title":{"rendered":"An updated look at the 49ers 2024 salary cap situation with 5th-year contract option numbers for Brandon Aiyuk, &#038; Javon Kinlaw, after the Dre Greenlaw, &#038; Mitch Wishnowsky extensions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/49erscap.com\/index.php\/2022\/09\/13\/looking-at-what-brandon-aiyuk-javon-kinlaws-5th-year-options-could-look-like\/\">Earlier this month <\/a>I went over what we can expect Brandon Aiyuk, &amp; Javon Kinlaw\u2019s 5<sup>th<\/sup>-year options could look like, <a href=\"https:\/\/49erscap.com\/index.php\/2022\/09\/13\/looking-at-the-49ers-2024-salary-cap-situation-with-projected-5th-year-option-numbers-for-brandon-aiyuk-javon-kinlaw\/\">with them added to 2024<\/a>, so today let\u2019s look go back to 2024 now that we know Dre Greenlaw, &amp; Mitch Wishnowsky\u2019s contract details.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Right now, the 49ers have 26 players signed for 2024, accounting for $191,083,621, along with $819,000 in projected dead money from Oren Burks, giving them a total commitment of $191,902,621, leaving them $64,097,379 under a projected $256 million cap, but that\u2019s with just 26 players signed, so when you add in enough for 51 players, they\u2019d be $44,222,379 under a projected $256 million cap.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Below are the 26 players currently signed for 2024, with their cap numbers.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>WR 19 Deebo Samuel(2025)- $28,572,000<\/li>\n<li>LT 71 Trent Williams(2026)- $28,009,777<\/li>\n<li>DT 91 Arik Armstead(2024)- $25,866,000<\/li>\n<li>MLB 54 Fred Warner(2024)- $22,100,000<\/li>\n<li>TE 85 George Kittle(2025)- $19,842,575<\/li>\n<li>CB 7 Charvarius Ward(2024)- $15,405,000<\/li>\n<li>QB 5 Trey Lance(2024)- $10,851,673<\/li>\n<li>WLB 57 Dre Greenlaw(2024)- $9,632,382<\/li>\n<li>FB 44 Kyle Juszczyk(2025)- $7,588,750<\/li>\n<li>P 18 Mitch Wishnowsky(2026)- $2,825,000<\/li>\n<li>LG 65 Aaron Banks(2024)- $2,250,694<\/li>\n<li>SS 30 George Odum(2024)- $1,625,000<\/li>\n<li>DE 95 Drake Jackson(2025)- $1,590,561<\/li>\n<li>CB 20 Ambry Thomas(2024)- $1,425,154<\/li>\n<li>RB 32 Tyrion Davis-Price(2025)- $1,393,240<\/li>\n<li>WR 6 Danny Gray(2025)- $1,375,883<\/li>\n<li>RG 74 Spencer Burford(2025)- $1,153,014<\/li>\n<li>RT 76 Jaylon Moore(2024)- $1,135,759<\/li>\n<li>CB 38 Deommodore Lenoir(2024)- $1,126,217<\/li>\n<li>SS 29 Talanoa Hufanga(2024)- $1,115,038<\/li>\n<li>RB 25 Elijah Mitchell(2024)- $1,100,893<\/li>\n<li>CB 24 Samuel Womack III(2025)- $1,055,831<\/li>\n<li>LG 63 Nick Zakelj(2025)- $1,032,590<\/li>\n<li>NT 93 Kalia Davis(2025)- $1,018,003<\/li>\n<li>QB 13 Brock Purdy(2025)- $1,004,253<\/li>\n<li>RB 24 Jordan Mason(2024)- $988,334<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As I said in my article about Aiyuk, &amp; Kinlaw\u2019s 5<sup>th<\/sup>-year options, I don\u2019t expect either to hit the Pro Bowl tier, just because it\u2019s so loaded in the NFC for both WR &amp; DT.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For Kinlaw, you have the likes of Aaron Donald(Rams), Leonard Williams(Giants), Vita Vea(Buccaneers), Jonathan Allen(Commanders), Kenny Clark(Packers), Grady Jarrett(Falcons), &amp; Fletcher Cox(Eagles), so it\u2019s unlikely Kinlaw makes the pro bowl.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As for Aiyuk\u2019s competition for the pro bowl, you have his teammate &amp; friend Deebo Samuel, plus the likes of A.J. Brown(Eagles), Cooper Kupp(Rams), D.K. Metcalf(Seahawks), Terry McLaurin(Commanders), Tyler Lockett(Seahawks), &amp; D.J.
