Deebo Samuel’s contract details are officially in, courtesy of OverTheCap.com<\/a>, so let’s take a look at them.<\/p>\n

Samuel received a $24.035 million signing bonus, plus a $9.215 million option bonus in 2023, while his 2022 base salary, 2023 base salary, & $4.555 million of his 2024 base salary are fully guaranteed, meaning $41 million is guaranteed at signing, plus he has yearly $750,000 per game roster bonuses, & $200,000 workout bonuses starting in 2023.<\/p>\n

Also, his 2023 per game roster bonus, 2023 workout bonus, & 2024 workout bonus become fully guaranteed 3 days after Deebo Samuel officially signed his deal, which was this Monday, so they should become fully guaranteed on Thursday, meaning his fully guaranteed money will go up to $42.15 million.<\/p>\n

He will also get the remainder of his 2024 base salary fully guaranteed on April 1, 2023, for a total of $58.917 million guaranteed, along with his 2024 per game roster bonus becoming fully guaranteed on April 1, 2023, pushing his guarantees up to $59.667 million.<\/p>\n

He also received yearly $650,000 incentives for 380 or more rush yards, plus he can earn $150,000 each season that he scores 3 or more rushing touchdowns, but the incentives max out at $650,000 each season, and these start in 2023.<\/p>\n

Below is a breakdown of Samuel\u2019s contract, year by year.<\/p>\n

2022- $6,876,519 ($965,000 base salary, $4.807 million new prorated, $904,519 old prorated, $50,000 workout bonus, & $150,000 LTBE incentive)<\/p>\n

2023- $8.68 million ($1.08 million base salary, $4.807 million signing bonus proration, $1.843 million option bonus proration, $750,000 per game roster bonus, & $200,000 workout bonus)<\/p>\n

2024- $28.572 million ($20.972 million base salary, $4.807 million signing bonus proration, $1.843 million option bonus proration, $750,000 per game roster bonus, & $200,000 workout bonus)<\/p>\n

2025- $24,200,529 ($16,600,529 base salary, $4.807 million signing bonus proration, $1.843 million option bonus proration, $750,000 per game roster bonus, & $200,000 workout bonus)<\/p>\n

I have the 49ers currently $2,614,090 under their adjusted cap for 2022, and they’ll see a $24.055 million raise once they offload Jimmy Garoppolo’s contract.<\/p>\n
