We\u2019re continuing the \u00a09-part series where I rank each player, from 1-91, & of course today we\u2019re ranking players 21-30.<\/p>\n

Note: The reason I\u2019m doing 91 is because the 49ers are able to carry Alfredo Gutierrez on their roster without him counting against the 90-man limit.<\/p>\n

    FS\/SS 33 Tarvarius Moore(2022)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$1,035,000
    \nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n

    Analysis: <\/strong>I envision Moore being the teams new starting strong safety, and coming off the torn Achilles, hopefully he\u2019s 100%, cause this is one of the spots I\u2019m more worried about.<\/p>\n

      WR\/KR\/PR 3 Ray-Ray McCloud III(2023)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$1,910,000
      \nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n

      Analysis: <\/strong>The 49ers added the best returner on the open market with McCloud, who had 39 catches, 277 yards, while also having 776 kick return yards, & 367 punt return yards, so McCloud should be a huge upgrade over the likes of Trenton Cannon, & JaMycal Hasty, & should also get some decent playing time at WR.<\/p>\n

        RG 76 Jaylon Moore(2024)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$905,759
        \nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n

        Analysis: <\/strong>Another player based, mostly on potential, Moore played well when he played at right tackle, but I envision him as the teams\u2019 new right guard.<\/p>\n

          LEO 95 Drake Jackson(2025)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$1,071,344
          \nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n

          Analysis: <\/strong>The 49ers made Jackson the 61st<\/sup>-overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft, and I envision him being that speedy edge rusher opposite Nick Bosa long term.<\/p>\n

            LG 65 Aaron Banks(2024)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$1,607,638
            \nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n

            Analysis: <\/strong>This is based on potential, as I believe Banks will be a very good replacement for Laken Tomlinson at left guard, and while he didn\u2019t get in many games in 2021, his college tape shows how good he can be, & putting him at his college position should help him develop.<\/p>\n

              DE 92 Kerry Hyder Jr.(2022)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$1,500,000
              \nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n

              Analysis: <\/strong>Hyder is BACK, after a season with the Seattle Seahawks, where he only had 1.5 sacks, he\u2019s back with defensive line coach Kris Kocurek, & hopefully he has another good season like in 2020 when he had 8.5 sacks.<\/p>\n

                LEO 53 Kemoko Turay(2022)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$1,700,000
                \nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n

                Analysis: <\/strong>The 49ers signed Turay late in free agency to a 1-year, $1.7 million deal, with $1 million fully guaranteed, and he\u2019s coming off a very good season, where he had 5.5 sacks for the Indianapolis Colts, so I expect him to do nice things with the 49ers, and this rotation of edge rushers.<\/p>\n

                  DT\/NT 99 Javon Kinlaw(2023)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$4,224,191
                  \nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n

                  Analysis: <\/strong>Javon\u2019s 2nd<\/sup>-year didn\u2019t go as planned, but I really am high on him, and I believe he\u2019ll be able to help replace the production of former 49ers NT D.J. Jones, along with free agent signee Hassan Ridgeway, & others.<\/p>\n

                    WR 15 Jauan Jennings(2022)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$825,000
                    \nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n

                    Analysis: <\/strong>JJ really came on last season, proving to be a 3rd<\/sup>-down machine, he really gave the 49ers 3 reliable wide receivers, so I expect him to continue to grow & develop.<\/p>\n

                      QB 10 Jimmy Garoppolo(2022)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                      2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$26,950,000
                      \nChance at making Roster: <\/strong>50\/50<\/p>\n

                      Analysis: <\/strong>I have Garoppolo as a 50\/50 to make this team, mainly because of the 49ers saying they have no issue carrying him on the 53-man roster, but I just can\u2019t see how it works, without the team restructuring every contract possible, so Jimmy should be elsewhere in 2022.<\/p>\n
