of course today we\u2019re ranking players 31-40.<\/p>\n<p>Note: The reason I\u2019m doing 91 is because the 49ers are able to carry Alfredo Gutierrez on their roster without him counting against the 90-man limit.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"40\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> CB 26 Samuel Womack III(2025)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$775,831<br \/>\n<strong>Chance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>The 49ers made Womack the 172<sup>nd<\/sup>-overall pick, and he\u2019s a player that should compete for the slot cornerback\/nickel back spot.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"39\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> RT 74 Spencer Burford(2025)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$873,014<br \/>\n<strong>Chance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>The 49ers drafted Burford with the 134<sup>th<\/sup>-overall pick, and they had a 3<sup>rd<\/sup>-round grade on him, so that tells you a lot, and I believe he\u2019ll end up being the new right tackle in 2023.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"38\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> RG 60 Daniel Brunskill(2022)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$2,433,000<br \/>\n<strong>Chance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>Brunskill is a very good player, but he\u2019s best suited to be a backup, that swing OL who can play pretty much all 5 positions, plus his best spot may be right tackle.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"37\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> CB 2 Jason Verrett(2022)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$895,000<br \/>\n<strong>Chance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>I know I know, this is really low, because if healthy, Verrett is a top tier cornerback, but the IF is a big IF, as we don\u2019t know how he\u2019ll look after tearing his ACL in week 1 of the 2021 season, but I expect him to at least be on the reserve\/PUP list to begin 2022.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"36\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> SS 29 Talanoa Hufanga(2024)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$885,038<br \/>\n<strong>Chance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>I am very high on Hufanga, I envision him getting plenty of playing time, especially in a 3 safety defensive backfield look, I\u2019m expecting him to take the next step.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"35\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> WR 86 Danny Gray(2025)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$917,255<br \/>\n<strong>Chance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>The 49ers made Gray the 105<sup>th<\/sup>-overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft, and I expect him to make a big time difference, especially on offense, where his speed will really help stretch the defense, &amp; make the offense way more dynamic.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"34\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> RB 22 Jeff Wilson Jr.(2022)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$1,085,000<br \/>\n<strong>Chance of making Roster: <\/strong>50\/50<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>The 49ers re-signed Wilson to a 1-year, $1.085 million deal, with $530,000 fully guaranteed, so he should end up on the roster, but he could be one of those surprise cuts\/trades, but he should be among the backups to Elijah Mitchell.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"33\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> RB 28 Trey Sermon(2024)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$1,107.485<br \/>\n<strong>Chance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>The 49ers didn\u2019t play Sermon much, but I have faith in him, and believe he\u2019ll get plenty of snaps at running back, along with Tyrion Davis-Price.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"32\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> RB 32 Tyrion Davis-Price(2025)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$928,826<br \/>\n<strong>Chance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>The 49ers shocked a lot of fans when they chose Davis-Price with the 93<sup>rd<\/sup>-overall pick, but it was a need, and he\u2019s a very good back, who should come in, &amp; compete for the #2 spot behind Elijah Mitchell.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"31\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> SS 30 George Odum(2024)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$1,435,000<br \/>\n<strong>Chance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>The 49ers were very serious about upgrading their special teams unit, and getting Odum, along with Ray-Ray McCloud, &amp;
