of course today we\u2019re ranking players 41-50.<\/p>\n<p>Note: The reason I\u2019m doing 91 is because the 49ers are able to carry Alfredo Gutierrez on their roster without him counting against the 90-man limit.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"50\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> DT 90 Kevin Givens(2022)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: $895,000<br \/>\nChance of making Roster: 50\/50<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>I believe Givens makes the team as the backup to Arik Armstead, but he\u2019ll have to battle it out with Maurice Hurst Jr. for that spot.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"49\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> DE 75 Jordan Willis(2022)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$970,000<strong><br \/>\nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>50\/50<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>If the 49ers keep 6 edge rushers, it comes down to Willis, &amp; Charles Omenihu, and it\u2019s anyone\u2019s ball game.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"48\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> DE 94 Charles Omenihu(2022)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$2,540,000<strong><br \/>\nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>50\/50<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>If the 49ers keep 6 edge rushers, it comes down to Omenihu, &amp; Jordan Willis, and it\u2019s anyone\u2019s ball game.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"47\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> NT 98 Hassan Ridgeway(2022)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$1,800,000<strong><br \/>\nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>The 49ers signed Ridgeway to a 1-year deal, with $1 million fully guaranteed, so he should be on the teams 53-man roster come week 1, and be one of the 48 active players come week 1.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"46\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> WR 6 Marcus Johnson(2022)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$895,000<strong><br \/>\nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>50\/50<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>The 49ers liked Johnson so much that they signed him to a 1-year deal, with $250,000 of his base salary fully guaranteed, which means he should at least be on the teams\u2019 practice squad, but he\u2019ll have to battle with Malik Turner for that 6<sup>th<\/sup> WR spot.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"45\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> WR 17 Malik Turner(2022)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$945,000<strong><br \/>\nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>50\/50<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>The 49ers signed Turner to a 1-year deal, with $300,000 fully guaranteed, and if the team decides to go with 6 wide receivers, then he would be my choice, but he\u2019s going to have to battle it out for that spot.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"44\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> CB 27 Dontae Johnson(2022)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$1,047,500<strong><br \/>\nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>50\/50<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>The 49ers gave Johnson $712,500 in fully guaranteed money, but with the 49ers drafting 2 cornerbacks, I now view Johnson, who was once a lock, as a player fighting for a roster spot, and while he\u2019s not the best, he is a good backup, &amp; special teamer.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"43\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> LEO 55 Dee Ford(2022)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$6,949,997<strong><br \/>\nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>50\/50<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>Ford restructured his deal earlier this offseason, and reports said that he would be released, which is very possible, but if he\u2019s healthy, he\u2019s a very good edge rusher, but that\u2019s a big IF on being healthy.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"42\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> CB 36 Tariq Castro-Fields(2025)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$738,003<strong><br \/>\nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>The 49ers drafted Castro-Fields with the 221<sup>st<\/sup>-overall pick, and I envision him being one of the teams\u2019 6 or 7 cornerbacks, and be a contributor on special teams.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"41\">\n<li>\n<h1><strong> CB 38 Deommodore Lenoir(2024)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2022 Cap Number: <\/strong>$896,217<strong><br \/>\nChance of making Roster: <\/strong>Lock<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analysis: <\/strong>Lenoir was off to a very good start in 2021, but he didn\u2019t get a lot of playing time after the first 2 weeks, but I expect Lenoir to be a key special teams guy, and compete for the slot cornerback\/nickel back spot.<\/p>\n<p>And as always, thanks for reading, leave a comment, or follow me on Twitter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.twitter.com\/49erscap\">@49erscap.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re continuing the\u00a0 9-part series where I rank each player, from 1-91, &amp;
