Let\u2019s begin with the people tight end, the best all around tight end, George Kittle, who had a good season in 2021, not necessarily up to his standard, but he was still a very good player, even with him missing some time due to injuries, and he\u2019s set to count $7,679,765 against the 2022 cap.<\/p>\n
Kittle\u2019s backups are Charlie Woerner, set to count $940,258, and Ross Dwelley, set to count $1,047,500, & both should be locks to make the team, as the team didn\u2019t address the tight end spot in the draft or free agency, so barring the 49ers adding someone late, expect both Woerner, & Dwelley to be on the 2022 roster.<\/p>\n
We have 3 other tight ends, Jordan Matthews, making $895,000, Tanner Hudson, set to count $895,000, & undrafted free agent Garrett Walston, set to earn $705,000, but all 3 are longshots to make the final roster, but one or two of them could end up on the teams\u2019 practice squad.<\/p>\n
